The Perry County Sheriff's Office takes action to reduce fatalities in the county

PERRY COUNTY — The Perry County Council meeting began with Becky Guthrie, Ride Solutions Director, who informed the Council that if they want to keep public transportation in Perry County, an agreement authorizing it must be signed, and request an appropriation for public transportation this year. That appropriation would be $6,000. This is the local county match to participate in the State funding transportation program. This item was tabled until after June 30 to review the transportation activity patterns through the first half of the year.

The second agenda item was from Coroner Warren Taylor who advised the Council of new scanner copier fax purchase for $449 from Radio Shack.
